Default Disconnected battery 97 Disco, no spark now!

I disconnected the battery on my 97 Disco. New battery went in, car cranks but doesn't start. Ignition key has delay of about 2 secs. before it engages starter, alarm, door locks, are working fine with remote and key. Any ideas? I need help bad!

Yeah when I pulled my batt last week I had the same issue and traced it back to the same fuse that keeps blowing, I think it's either 13 or 18, some alarm fuse... When it goes the truck either just cranks or nothing... pulled that batt again, replaced the fuse, plugged it back in, unlocked the truck, starts fine...

I know 13 is alarm fuse that seems to be fine. I pulled and replaced all fuses when I was searching for draw. Found ALT was causing draw. Hooked battery back up, no spark. Until then truck was perfect. Do you use key fob to unlock and lock?
