I'm amazed, given the shape of the truck, how quiet this D2 is on the highway. No issues holding a conversation at a normal volume.
Doesnt mean I wouldnt add my own dampening to it, but its really not bad at all.....

To the OP's question - Tilt and telescoping steering wheel would be very nice. I'm 6'3" and found finding a good leg to arm seating position kinda awkward. I added the slider extenders to the seat rails for more room. It helped.
I'm also VERY annoyed sometimes that luxury car brands cant use better plastics. BMW was even worse in similarly aged vehicles, plastics under the hood and around the outside of the car just deteriorated like crazy.. While everything on the 2003 Volvo we have looks amazing for its age.

does the disco not have tilt steering ?? Never noticed

Yeah, for me right now its the paint that bothers me most. The clear coat has failed on the roof and bonnet, but it just doesn't make good economic sense to spend nearly as much to get the truck repainted as it would be worth when finished. It's clearly entered the beater truck phase of its life. Thankfully it runs and drives great and the Boys From South of the Border have been banished again for several months now.

On second thought I guess all the rattles bother me too, but at least I have a fighting chance to track them down and try to address them.

I debate with myself whether or not I want to learn how to paint. I actually enjoy that sort of thing, but it's a ton of work, and I would need to learn from start to finish.

I think I will likely save up, and if the spirit moves me, find an '04 rust free to transplant my Turner engine into. Don't think I want to do a frame swap and I want the CDL.

Non-functional AC is definitely up there, but I'm able to overlook it for the winter.

Headliner needs to be redone. That'll be a pain in the ***.

Does that include removing/reinstalling the headliner?
