Our 2003 Discovery is sweet
We have an 03, outside the VIN range for the oil pump issues. It is one sweet thing- smooth, quiet, powerful, and capable for our 4wd needs (pasture fields and mountain roads). It has 112K miles now.
It was a bargain, even if I abandon it by the side of the road one night and take the tags off.
