Replaced mass airflow sensor...everything is back to normally...after drowning a few weeks ago. Cleared a pile of misfire codes and random codes...road tested...no codes and it ran fine. All snorkeled up from here on out...so this "should" never happen again...knocking on wood, too.

I did my rear two dome lights with red led so the kids could use them while I'm driving.

Deputy how is the condition of the hose between the airbox and fender? You can silicone the outside of it, then wrap it with a layer of AC Duct Tape, then use some Gorilla Black tape on the outside to give it some structure. I find it the weak link in the D2 air intake setup. Had mine been damaged during Hurricane Harvey in Old Faithful I'd have locked that 4.0L up in a heartbeat!

I went thru water up to Land Rover on the hood which splashed over the hood onto the windshield a few times. No water got into my fluids or my airbox. Hurricane Harvey was a PITA!! I wasn't worried about the front diff breather, or the transmission/TC, but yes for sure I thought the rear diff had taken on water due to the OEM breather hose location, but I was wrong.

I'd have never attempted any water crossing like that but I knew my air intake tubing was flawless.

Actually, it was in really good shape...which is surprising when you consider the rest of the vehicle...lol. I'd read about them being an issue, and about the repair mentioned. Probably should go ahead and do it...so it may still happen.

Thanks,

Brian.

New headliner and fixed leaky sunroof (broken drain), probably related.
