I need a new tranny and found one for $1,600, one year warranty and unlimited mileage.


Just looking at all possibilities. I tow this vehicle behind my Motorhome during the summer months. I don't wanna go to a jeep. Also, I love/hate this rig. I wanna keep it, but my wallet and wife says you're hurting me.


Anymore thoughts, mostly about the article?

 

yes; he is worth his salt and people pay dearly for it. he has no problem quoting $10k for a rebuilt engine when everyone else is $6-7k.

why are you not just replacing the tranny with a $400 used one? you could replace it 4 times with the year of your warrentee
