What do you use to get the fill plug from the trans case on your d1???

he fill plug from the trans case on your d1??? I just can't do it.

A socket or wrench worked fine for me.

socket wrench with no socket. righty tighty lefty lucy. i have to tell myself this often, especially when im upside down.

More specifically use a 1/2" ratchet wrench, the 1/2" square end will fit right into the fill plug just like it does on the drain plug.

On DII's the e-brake so a wobble extension makes life easier. Not sure on the DI but a 1/2" drive breaker bar may be needed to get things turning if it has been a while since the plugs has moved.
