Default What ignition set up for '95 Disco?

I am getting this pig up to snuff. New dizzy or just rotor and cap?
Also, what plugs does the Disco like? I want it to run like a top after the head gasket replacement.
I am going to order Magnecor wires but what else should I get?
thanks,
Dave K.

A "FACTORY" cap and rotor, some after market caps can cause problems. Be careful removing the rotor, old Rover distributors can pull apart or be damaged when doing this. Some might suggest up-grading to a hotter coil set up for a little more bite.

What plugs to use is like asking what kind of woman you like.
These trucks run GREAT on el'cheapo copper plugs.
I have always used Iridium plugs and have no complaints, others like Platinum plugs.
Just go to AutoZone and buy whatever you want.
The factory plug is a Champion copper plug, $2 at AutoZone, $8 at the dealer for the exact same plug.

For the last 5years, I've had autolite plugs and autozone silicone $50 wires, I'd say over 50k miles and still runs great.

Also, do some research on dist. - I believe a buick big block HEI works quite nicely with a new gear on bottom.
