time to replace windshiel in disco 1

I need to replace my NON heated windshield in my 99 disco 1. is repalcing it with an after market a big deal? not sure insurance will spring for land rover one!

Insurance companies should pay for a factory glass and if not after market glass is great and you won't have any problem with them. What sort of coverage do you have?

Let your insurance company pay for whatever they want.
I have always used aftermarket glass and never had any problems.

But do you have glass coverage? Does nay matter the insurance company what type of coverage?
Full coverage? PLPD?

I just have comprehensive, and it comes with free windshield replacement.
