Let's go a step further, what sort of mileage are you getting, what octane are you using and what sort of tune related work have you done to improve it???

I get 11-12 mpg city, 15-16 highway. That's with 93 octane shell gas.

I am getting similar miles per gallon out of our 99. However, my 17 year-old twins are driving the 99 most of the time, no doubt their driving habits contribute to the great mileage.......We can only get 91 octane in California. I filled up last night after a week of city driving 221 miles and it took just over 19 gallons. Have fresh plugs and wires and a spotless intake, thanks to this site. I have noticed a gradual reduction in miles per gallon over the last two years, about the time the kids got their licenses! I suspect that a fresh set of O2 sensors would help the mpg but at $120 by 4, and only 2 to 3 miles per gallon improvement, you can buy alot of gas.

12-15 and I don't notice much difference highway Vs. city. I am pretty sure the fluctuation depends on her mood and the weight inside of the truck. Our surface street speed limit is 45MPH and I drive fast (usually 50-55) and I usually do about 70-75 on the highway

chris, slow down to 65mph on the highway and I bet your highway mileage will go up to 17mpg.

I only drive on the highway when I am going far and I would rather save an hour or two (or more) off the trip than the few extra MPG's.
