As others have said, you can do much better, I bought my 2000 disco for $2k and came with 5 brand new tires. 100k miles, owner thought it had a slipped sleeve so I planned on replacing the engine but turned out to only be a CMP and coil pack. For $2800 I now have it with a beautifully running engine, ultragauge, rebuilt drive shaft (ow what a pain that was), as well as most of the fluids replaced.
