Default What part is the one.......(2003) Disco

....That goes from the block to the hose...Its metal tube that runs between the compressor and alt. I think....It is leaking badly...My disco(2003) we have owned for 9 yrs and has done great..139,000 miles and bought it at 19,000 mile....Its now starting to really annoy me and cost me more and more...Also, a/c went out..compressor kicks but must be fan motor....Window motor out last week as well..need to fix the cooliing so my daughter who is now driving it to HS can continue to give me grey hair!!

Anyway, sorry for rant---What part number and where?????

ouch - guess you'll have to check with one of our parts guys, or swing by a salvage yard.

Thats the metal black pipe that runs from your intake to the radiator hose. It has a triangle base with 3 bolts. There is an oring at the base between the pipe and intake, make sure you buy that too. If its leaking at the base, that oring by itself could be the culprit alone. Just buy a new pipe and oring, should take 15-20 mins to replace.
Good luck

Dealer, salvage yard, ebay? Maybe take it out out and have sombody weld it back up? That would be my last resort though. Cause if its got a hole in it, even a pin hole that means its life is pretty much over, as your antifreeze "or dexcool" already ate it up and the metal is already thin enough where as you plug one hole another will open.
Good luck, and one day get rid of that dexcool, flush it out and put some peak in it.

Yo dude,
There is an "O" ring at the end of that pipe under the triangle held on by only one 10mm bolt.

If you take out that pipe and put in a new "O" ring you may be fine.
Else - if the pipe is rusted out - not good.

Buy one from here..
Looks like they are ripping off for them as usual

There are three pipes in that area: PEQ000030, PEP000090, PEP000080. (for about mid 2001 and newer)

They are pretty much all cheaper at rovers north than at miami british. Might be cheaper from other places too.
