As far as rotors go just get regular old solid rotors. Whatever pads you want (lockheed, akebono, EBC, ferodo etc) though ceramics scare the crap out of me in the mornings with these trucks. Call will tillery and see what he has these days.
I have had no problems with the Akebono ceramics I put on mine (front and rear) 10,000 miles ago.
I went with factory Land Rover Pads front & rear. recommenced by Disco Mike.
DBA drilled, sloted rear. DBA Vented, drilled & tempered on the front. (Only went went with the tempered b/c DBA was out nationwide on the standard slotted vented Gold rotors. They are gray instead of gold. I painted my rotors and calipers gold, just to look cool.
Has been great for over 12,000 miles +.
Here is the best price I found for Genuine Land rover pads from Rovers North. Better than EE and AB on the price! Just felt right putting the original pads on.
Had Car-X bleed the brakes cause I hate messing with DOT5 fluid. What a bargain for $60. And got a estimate of over $600 for new fronts with performance pads and rotors. I did the full job f/r with performance rotors and factory pads for under $400

They are just scary in these trucks when cold. If you heat them up before you get going they are fine. Just keep that in mind. Most people have a couple stop signs in the morning before they get going but when I lived on a country road that first red light can be interesting if you are not paying attention.
