Yeah, that is outrageous. That dealership has insurance for things like this. It is imperative that you take pictures to make the correct claim. You should also insist on at least an SUV for a loaner. They put you out and the least they can do is get you a respectable loaner. If it was you wrecking their car, you would be out the entire amount of the car, not just the repairs. They screwed up BIG TIME and they know it! I am not saying you hve to take them to the cleaners. (heaven knows that they would NEVER do that to you if you were there for a headgasket replacment or tranny replacement...) What I am saying is documentation is your bestest friend. Tell them that you will take a '09 Defender or '99 LR3 in partial trade for the damage to your baby and pain and suffering you are experiencing.... Hey, if you get pictures, post them! Seriously, I am truly sorry to hear that happened. Hold their feet to the fire. You know they would do it to you.

 

i took pictures, it looks like someone took a knife and stuck it in the roof and sliced 10 gashes in the roof, they are two of these in the front and two in the rear. also on the sides by the rear lights. they also tore off the guttering on the back left. they are working on getting me an suv.

yes i did it was a warning bar that said six foot nine, big thick sturdy thing, all things aside four people witnessed it and said it was quite a sight to see
