Default What should I use to "stick" trim to Disco?

I lost a few rear trim pieces a few years back and over time have acquired replacements. As I was cleaning them up, I noticed the main top rear door seal has some remnants of some glue or tape that held it in place. I'd like to affix some of these smaller pieces with something that will keep them in place as I go through the car wash so I don't lose them again. I'd like them to ideally never come off unless I want them to, and then be able to be removed without damage to the car if needed. I'm not sure if clear silicone, or readi gasket or something else. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!!
