Default What size are the screws?

Hey guys!

Mason Here. I plan to become a regular. Two questions.

1) - What size are all the screws for the dash? From the far left vents past the steering, to the far right window, I have all the dash panels and they need to go back in, but can’t find a schematic with anything labeled. I’d assume some of these are easily findable locally but I need to find out what size and thread pitch they are first.

2) - Where can I get, or what can I get, as a replacement for the rubber key hole in the steering column?

I believe after these small things she will be ready to start and officially diagnose.

Thanks in advanced guys!

Not sure exactly which screws you are referencing, photo? Suggest you hit up one of the breakers on FB for the rubber key thingy.

How are you missing all the screws? Did you take the dash out and lose the screws? Send pictures of positions so I know we are on the same page.

nope the guy who had it before me had the wires for his ignition removed, and his radio, and instead of doing it the right way they broke the dash all up and tossed the screws. I actually went to a local hardware store today and found a bunch that “should fit”.

We shall see tomm.

O and my new ignition barrel, keys, and ignition wiring will be here in the next two days so I can actually start diagnosing real issues here this week. Previous owner says it is a blown motor. Then tells me he isn’t sure because he sold it and they brought it back making a knocking sound. So once I start it I’ll see. I’m hoping maybe some code clearing and some new sensors / coil packs and plugs may tidy it up but I’m doubtful.

Well that's why I asked which screws. That's not even close to all the screws. There are screws under the bottom that hold the dash in, there are screws that hold the instrument Binnacle on, there's screws that hold the radio bezel in. There are screws that mount the entire dashboard to the body of the car. If you actually need to know which screws we'll need photos

Your best bet is to go to a junkyard and take a dash apart. Take pictures and bring plastic baggies to sort all the screws. No one here can answer what you are asking.
