What size tools for the drain/fill of autom. transmission?
I was going to drain the Transmission and fill it again, but I came to the conclusion I do not have the right size tools. Can anybody tell me what size? i can't find that info on RAVE CD either...
Yes it does take an allen wrench on the D2. I tried both sets I have, but no luck... The drain appears to be in between 3/16 and 7/32, and the filler is bigger than 1/4. Rather than buying a whole bunch of tools I just wanted to go buy the exact sizes for the job...
So I should go and buy a micrometer now... A tape measure would not be accurate enough.
The idea was to save money insteaad of buying a bunch of tools that won't do me any good... I guess somebody needs to support the economy!
That is for the engine oil drain plug, the SDI trans drain plug is like 15mm or such.

5 and 8 did the trick...
Now, question... I was able to add almost 4.5 quarts. Once it started coming out of the fill hole, it wasn't just a 2 mm bead. It came out like in a (little) stream. I quickly closed it, but now I am wondering if I overfilled it. Is that possible? and if so, is that bad?
