They are the caps for the holes used for the wipers in the UK (right hand drive) market. On that side of the pond, the caps cover the holes where your wiper arms currently are.

Local salvage yard, or any of the sources linked in Disco Mike's signature.

my guess is that the right hand drive cars have wipers that are inverse from our cars. It looks like almost everything about these car was made to have as few changes as possible from LHD to RHD. Instead of having a different cabin air intake for both cars, they just made 4 holes, and had plugs for those left empty.

AtlanticBritish sells the entire intake, but I couldn't find just the plugs. You'll probably have to call around to the rover parts places, or your dealer, to find them. Another option would be to just get a generic body plug, if you can find one that fits and looks ok.

They are simply blanking plugs, would be available from any dealer and probably about $3 each
