Why would anyone want to go fast in a Discovery?

I don't get it

 

I think I hit 70 once

 

In its current state, 95. Of course the spedo said 85! Got to love when you need a GPS to tell you the correct speed.

 

100 MPH stock. I haven't had it over 80 with my current set up

 

90 MPH going downhill. With a tail-wind.

 

70 and that was pushin it. After a steering box swap, 75.

 

85MPH. Never again... I have too much "precious cargo."

Now I rarely, if ever, go above 70MPH. I drive the middle and right lane. Pass me if you wanna.

lol just curious MDF27... I drive like a snail most days, I got all the speed outa me with my 1st car, plus I have a bike if I ever have the urge. I think 85 is probably the fastest I've been when I had stock tires and thats passing on the highway. Normally now with the 285's if on I'm the highway I don't get above 70 indicated which is probably 75-80mph. Around town I'm a slow accelerator 5mph over the limit speeder max heh.

 

I did 95-100 a couple of times... not paying attention.... now I rarely go faster than 70....
