/\ haha I have visions of those fail videos that show the speed boats hitting a small wave then taking off flipping end over end in glorious fashion.

Wifey and I would shoot down to Key West a few times a year from Tampa- anyone who's driven A1A from Islamorada south knows that its a snail's pace, SO on long stretches (Alligator Alley) We could hit 100 easy and 105 sometimes, smooth, but noisy...Of course, that was B.C. (before children) HA!

Mine rarely sees anything over 70-75... and that's with the speed limit on toll roads at 75. Now, my wife's '04 D2, it'll run 80-90 on toll roads with no problems, smooth as a baby's butt. She drives that thing at constant 70-80 going to work. I don't drive that fast anymore. Especially in my D2 ('99).

I once got into a race with a new range rover sport supercharged, i thought my 4.6 could do it, but just as i was about to hit 90mph i started seeing strange colors and found my self driving tords a light...i then woke up in a abulence with a section of the rear door stuck in my fore head, after that i could only remember seeing 'V8' and the sticker in the visor that had a roll over warning....
they are Land Rover's NOT Race Rover's!!!

I was down there a year ago (marathon). Watch out for the key deer!

Not a Disco I/II, but the III (LR3) is very comfortable at 105. Unfortunately, I'm not that comfortable doing triple digits, so 75-79 is where I keep it on the highway.

I don't take my truck any faster than 70 mph.
A. The roads are a dangerous place with out excessive speed.
B. There are plenty of other people that don't pay attention while driving.
C. I have been in a horrible accident due to some jack wagon that was driving to fast behind me and could not control his vehicle.
D. I don't ever want someone to refer to me as that jack wagon.
E. My life and my family are very important to me and i respect the law and your safety aswell.

Under her own power, about 70-75. I did see her doing 78 on the back of a big a*# roll back once though.
