Default What's the most efficient way to grease the drive shaft during an oil change?

Keeping in mind the ball in the middle of the cardon joint needs to be greased too... Most of the time I change the oil with the truck on the ground, and getting access to the zerk fittings usually involved moving the truck a few inches as needed. I think the driveshaft needs to come off though to access the fitting on the centering ball, yeah? Is the best thing just to take it off and grease it every oil change? Seems quite extra. What are you guys doing?

I can’t seem to get in there to grease it without dropping one side.

I use one of these. Still need to spin the wheels, or move the truck a bit, but the shaft stays on the flange.
