What's your mileage?
136k mi on my '98. Still running strong!
The way I look at it, it should run almost forever with a GM-designed small block
. My '89 Chevy 4x4 PU has 245k mi and it's all original including sensors. Doesn't use a drop of oil and still gets 16.5 mpg (average, not max). I've got a Caprice with 276,000 mi (305) and it's also all original, also doesn't use any oil. Yep, the General sure doesknow how to make a small block!

I've got 92,000 on my 99 Disco II. Haven't spent too much over the past five years, magnecor wires and plat. plugs, new U-Joints for front, ABS work (computer) partially covered under warrentee. New tires at 55,000 miles. Haven't changed O2 sensors as yet. Other general maintenance expenses. I do try to avoid going back to the dealer.
2000 D2 103k ( original owner ). When I took the heads off, couldn't even feel a ridge on top of the cylinder walls
( from the pistons ). The 30 degree crosshatch honing very visible. My highest mileage vehicle so far.

I have 128,000 on my 2000 Series II. Still runs good, transmission shifts smooth. I am hoping it will last like my old ford ranger did, it had 230,000 when I traded it in for the Rover and it still ran strong.
