And after a jolly good game of roller skating, I do enjoy a good cup of tea and a crumpet or two. Just smashing.
Actually, I prefer good ol' Bushmills on the rocks...makes all the owies go away...
I am a financial advisor dealing with companies that are in or going into bankruptcy.....As you can imagine I am busy. Fortunately it does pay enough to fill up the tank. Unfortunately I don't have much time to take out the Disco.
I work at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI / pronounced: WHO-EEEE - for short). It's a mouthful of a name and most people won't recognize it unless they are really into oceanography and watching the science channel.
WHOI is most noted for re-Discovering the Titanic...Bob Ballard is a scientist emeritus here and he lead the expedition. I might be mistaken but I think they used our submarine "Alvin" to go down and explore.
I don't do any of that kind of stuff...I'm a Systems Admin for Finance and Administration. I fix the computers, servers and network stuff to make sure that the payroll machines work so that the scientists can get paid.
...Funny how computers that make things more efficient somehow make more jobs. =)

but only if you buy me a New Castle after...
After 3 months of unemployment I got a job driving a truck delivering additives to cement plants. Pretty cool job and I have most weekends off to go wheeling.
I'm lucky enough to get to drive this. It's not a Rover but it's still fun to drive.
