"Terra Grappler All Season / All Terrain Tires (201-180) by NittoŽ. 255/60R18, Speed Index 112 mph, Max Load 2469 lbs, Max Inflation Pressure 50 psi, Tire Weight 37 lbs, Overall Diameter 30".
Looks like it is a "light truck" or "SUV" tire, so I should be good. I am not planning on doing any rock crawling or mudding with it, so I should be ok in that aspect. I might drive through the pasture at the ranch, but that's about it.

drowssap, I saw that table on the original thread for it, but it doesn't really tell me the tire sizes for the 18" rims... other than the stock size or the 32" tire.
BK, that is the info I was looking for (and the pics). Thanks!! I'm thinking of going to a 255/60-18 like this one... 255/60R18 Nitto Terra Grappler
It's a 30" tire, instead of the stock 29". Looks like it has some pretty good reviews too.

Do you have any pictures of your 265/60-18's on the truck? I would think they would be pretty close to the 255's in size. Have you had any issues with the ride or stress on the drive shaft? How about your mileage/speedo being off?

Here's the pic, if my math is correct since the tire is 10mm wider, that would make the tire 12mm taller than a 255's (6mm x 2). But as far as speed accuracy, according to my GPS it's 1.5 mph slower at 60mph (at indicated 60mph I'm actually going 61.5) Since I'm going from a bigger tire to a smaller one I don't have a reference to what stock feels like, but it is easier for my old bones to get into the truck since it's about and inch and a half lower.

I like the way they look. I may look into the same size. Depends on price too. I found the 255/60-18's for $175. Now, I'm going to look and see what I can get the 265's for.

If you are worried about knowing what speed you are going just use a GPS. I run 265/65/18 on mine and I am off by 5 mph at 70. In town you will notice that your MPG will go down, but if you drive it on the freeway it will actually go up, not a lot but a little.
I notice the size more when I am towing my boat up a grade. It is slow at times.
The Nitto is a great tire, I have had several sets and was very happy with them.
