Default P-38 Wheel Size.

Has anyone experienced 22" wheels on their P-38 RR first hand? Looks like a lot of people go with 20" wheels, but wondering if anyone had any thoughts or opinions on the 22's. Thanks!

I was wondering that same thing. I stopped at a couple different tire places and found a place that had a website with virtual wheels that included Range Rovers http://tirefactory.com . The recomended sizes given are from 16" -20", although from the people I have talked to you can fit 24s under it. I think the recomendations have something to do with the air suspension when lowered to cargo level.

I suppose 24's would be workable if you never set it down to access level. However, there would not be much rubber on that wheel.

It would be pretty embarrassing to be stuck on the side of the road because your land rover bent a rim on a speed bump

My dad has 22s on his Tahoe and there is enough rubber to take it off the pavement, but definitely not enough to go play in the mud.

I think a tahoe has a larger wheel diameter to begin with. After some research, 24's are definatly out of the question. 22's a posibility, 20's a safe bet but not as cool.
