So I put a 2" lift on my '04 disco 2 and I am also planning on picking up some 32" tires to go on it. However, I think it needs to have a little more back spacing on the stock 16" wheels to give it a better look. Does anyone have spacers on their wheels and how big? pics would be great, thanks!

 

My bmw wheels stick out about an inch further than the stock rover wheels do. That's as far as I wanted to go with a 2" lift in the interest of being able to fully tuck without rubbing.

I loved the look and the increased stability, but I got cheap Chinese spacersmeaning they were made if cheap metal and they weren't hub centric. The wheels slid around cause by vibrations and there have been tons of reports online of cheap spacers breaking. If you get wheel spacers, the ONLY brand to get is BORA. they are super high quality and made in America. I just ordered a set for my silverado. They're hub centric instead of lug centric so the wheel can't move around. They're more than double the price of the cheap spacers, but your life and the lives of the people around are worth the extra ~$120. Go quality or don't get spacers at all.

 

I have run spidertrax on my jeep for years with no adjustments and no problems, not sure if the make them for Rovers

 

Wheel spacers do zero for performance. They actually hinder the tire fitting into the wheel well when you are articulating. I had 1" spacers on my truck for a while and constantly had issues. I then bought a set of those 1/4 inch spacers that go on almost like a washer. They are cheap and worked perfect for keeping my 285/75/16 tires from rubbing on my frame. I ran them for 3 years without any issues.

Or you could just buy some steel wheels with a bigger offset.
