If you get them, do NOT cheap out. Get BORA brand and nothing else. They cost more than twice as much and there's a reason. I've used cheap ones that have tried to kill me and I currently have a set of BORA spacers on my Silverado.

Cheaper spacers, even the ones advertised to use higher grades of billet aluminum, they use cheaper aluminum that has a tendency to crack and come apart. Also a lot of them are not hub centric which is necessary.

Even the terrafirma ones I wouldn't trust. Some stuff I think terrafirma makes quality, other things... Eh. I don't risk it with spacers.

When installing them use blue loctite on the lugs that hold the spacer on and re-torque them after 100 miles. Also, the further out you go the more strain you're putting on your wheel bearing. I've got 1.25" spacers on my Silverado and I like that size well. I had 2" spacers on my Discovery briefly and while they looked great, they definitely made a difference. There was one wheel bearing that I didn't know was going bad which after installing the spacers became VERY audible and was still audible after removal even after only ~10 miles of driving.

I have had 1.5" 1" and also the thin .25 spacers. I originally bought them to change the look but ended up liking the narrow stance of the Disco better in the end. The spacers also did not work well for articulation when offroad. The tires are more likely to hit the wheel wells because they stick out more. I had 2 different instances where the spacers came loose and screwed up my lugs. In the end I chucked all the spacers but then found I was rubbing on full turn. I then bought the cheap .25" ones that just drop on. They worked perfect and have been on my truck for years.

Long story short...don't do it.

It really depends for what reason you feel you need wheel spacers. Bearing in mind the additional leverage torque they put on the wheel bearings, diff bearings and half shafts, IMO, I wouldn't use them. It depends whether you want to make the D2 look pretty or seriously widen the track for offroad use, if the latter, why not calculate the wider wheel with a deeper dish required.

I've been running the Terrafirma ones for the past year and have no issues with them. Mostly road driving around Atlanta but some forest service trails in North Georgia too. Haven't tried anything else but the BORA brand looks nice + USA made. Didn't know about them when I bought mine.

I agree with not going cheap, this definitely isn't the place to save a dollar or two. As I recall the Terrafirma ones weren't cheap either.

Whatever you do you should definitely use some locktite when you attach them and I'd double check the tightness of them a few times in the weeks/months after you put them on.
