When driving above 30mph if I let off gas and then press gas again it shutters..?

I have also read that going from P to Drive to Neutral and to Reverse if I hear any clunking or noises that can also be evidence of bad drive shaft as well?

Thanks for your help LR2001Silver, I most likely will be contacting you in the future for a new drive shaft.

You can remove your front shaft and engage your cdl and see if the noise goes away. That way you will have it out and be able to give it a better inspection. Just a thought.

I don't have the CDL linkage , otherwise I would do that for the time being and be able to safely drive it.

You're right you dont have the linkage but you DO have a CDL (cool huh). Grab a 10mm open ended wrench and reach above the transfer case and feel for a little nub, put your wrench on it and turn 1/4 turn and you'll be engaged. Get in and put key in without starting and you should see a nice new light on your dash!
