Default Where is the 2004 Discovery Idle Air Multiplug?

I'm at the end of a long valve cover gasket replacement, and spark plug and wire replacement, and as I'm following Atlantic British's video, after putting the throttle body on, he instructs me to put the Idle Air Multiplug on... I see where it should go but I don't see it! What the heck? I've got this secondary air system that's not on the Disco he's working on, that wouldn't change anything would it? Might it have been buried under the upper intake manifold? Anyone know where this plug originates from?

It's just the plug/connector for the valve. If you buried it you'll need to root around and find it. Wiring manual appears to show it in same harness as injectors.

Valve - idle air control (IACV)
$% 19.22.54
Remove
1. Disconnect multiplug from IACV.
2. Loosen 2 clips securing air hoses and release
hoses.
3. Remove 2 screws securing IACV to inlet
manifold.
4. Collect clamps and remove IACV.
Refit
1. Position IACV to inlet manifold, locate clamps,
fit screws and tighten to 8 Nm (6 lbf.ft).
2. Position air hoses to IACV and secure clips.
3. Connect multiplug to IACV.
......

I just took the upper air intake manifold off again to find it (dadgum studs; I'm replacing them with bolts tonight), and I don't see it anywhere...

Found it! I had plugged that Multiplug into the coil pack mistakenly, and buried the coil pack Multiplug below it. Phew. Thanks for the moral support number9

Yeah, uh ... that wouldn't work very well.

I did the exact same thing last week. I had found the plug that was supposed to go into the other side of the coil and could not figure out why it would not reach the IAC. The key for me was (afterward ofcourse) the IAC plug is gray and the two coil plus are black. You are not alone in the mistake.

Nice to know I'm not the only one. Yeah, just plugging things in that are near to each other doesn't always turn out for the best, it seems.
