Default Where to buy O2 Sensors?

I will be replacing all 4 O2 sensors soon in my 2000 Discovery. Should I go with the Atlantic British or a different place? I read some old posts about bad sensors of different brands and sources. I would like to avoid buying a batch of bad O2's.

Thank you,
Willie

if you buy from ab they are made by the same guys who make the regular ones for land rover. Plus being a disco two they are alot cheaper.

do you need oxygen sensors or just throwing parts at a CEL light?

A.T. is a good place as well as Rover Connection or just go to your local auto parts store and buy some Bosch 02's as long as they are under $65 a piece.

I was going to change them because it was running rough. The plugs are black and soot covered on the passenger side and white on the drivers side. Today it ran good, maybe I had some bad gas. The fronts have about 80,000 and the rears are original with 181,500 miles. How long do they usually last? I am getting about 225 miles per tank of 92 octane. I would not mind spending some money to increace the MPG. I called Napa, they want $87 for the fronts and $70 for the rears plus 3 days UPS shipping, they are Bosch brand. Are the atlantic British Bosch?

Advanced Auto is $75per I think for the Bosch O2's.

I feel I should point out that I have had *2* faulty Bosch O2's and I am now running Denso's but they are more like $110per. I am not saying anything bad about Bosch, as every company will have parts that are defective and that's what the warranty is for, but I just want to let you know.

They actually do here is the link for a D1 with AEL 64.48$ a piece

http://www.race-mart.com/items/produ...044-detail.htm

The only problem with this seller is that they don't keep a big inventory for trucks like ours, so they have to order directly from NTK when they don't have it in stock so it may take a little longer than AB to get your parts.

When I checked all the Rover related parts websites I saw they were almost all selling NTK sensors. I went on the NTK website to get the part number for my truck and I ordered from the cheapest place.

Are the NTK and the BOSCH both plug and play for the DI? Some of the aftermarket O2 sensors require cutting and splicing the connecting plug. I have 103k miles on the DI with the original O2 sensors. My gas mileage has dropped 2 or 3 miles per gallon. I would love to get the mpg back but at $ 129 each for 4 O2 sensors on a DI AEL equipped vehicle, I can pay for a truck load of extra gas..........not to mention that at today's prices, a set of O2 sensors almost doubles the value of the vehicle! Thanks Phil
