Default Where to buy Thermostat?

I've searched, but can't seem to find a part number or where to buy a thermostat. O'Reilly quoted me $105 for the tstat and housing, Advance said they couldn't get one. Since many of our parts don't show as fitting a land rover (i.e. u-joint) I'm hoping they just don't know they have it. Or do I need to get it from a dealer?

I got mine at the Dealer for $45. The reason that I got it at the dealer was that at the time Atlantic British only sold the aftermarket one and many were defective. I did not want to take a chance over a $20 savings.

Correction, it was $35 at the dealer, like the rest have stated, not $45

Do you mind expounding on ^that^ statement? I installed one of those a couple months ago, now you've made me paranoid.

You had to spend $250. Which I did. Anyone need 9 thermostats?

Yes, some were defective and they were being returned. I heard that it was a bad batch. That was, if I remember correctly, towards the end of 2010 so you should be alright.
