Atlantic British offers a kit that has the male connector but an hour long search for just the male connector yielded zero results. Has anyone ever tracked one down?

Remove the passenger side tail light and the connector should be there unless a PO hacked around back there...at least it was on my truck when I installed the AB kit years ago.

Yeah that’s the female end of the connector. I am looking for the male end take a look at the pictures with arrows pointing to the male end.

There shouldn't be a male end on the truck. If you don't have a harness plugged in there's just a cover on it.
The male plug is on the adaptor harness.

Yes you are correct, if I had one on the truck would be able to find it. I am looking to source just male connector without buying the trailer kit. I can wire a male connector to fit my needs I just can’t find one.

try ebay if you are concerned about the price of a new kit - maybe you can find a used trailer kit

not looking for a kit to wire a trailer. Looking for the male connector for another project.

Best bet is a salvage yard -- tons of wrecked D2s at Pick N Pulls have the trailer wiring in there, and you can pull it and take the harness for like $5 !

Why not just cut out the female connector and splice in a new Molex for whatever your project is?

just prefer not to cut the connector off. If I can find the male end why would I? If I can find the male connector I can switch whatever I want to wire with a simple plug-in.
