Hello all,

I've lost 2 of the 4 locking fasteners that secure my upper fan cowl. See attached pics.

I went to the dealer and he wanted $25 for a bag of 5 of what he wasn't sure was the right fastener or not. He said the part # was FS106127L.

Atlantic British says an FS106127L is an exhaust heatshield manifold bolt. Exhaust Manifold Heatshield Bolt 6M X 12MM (Part # FS106127L) - Land Rover bolts\clamps\brackets\washers from Atlantic British

Does anyone know what the proper part number is and/or where I can get some?
(There's always the option of scavanging from the junkward but With the weather so crappy.....)

Call Wilson at Shiyco Used Rover Parts at 843-450-5941 or Will Tillery at 434-251-9331 and see if they have some used ones they can part with.

 

AutoZone carries an assortment of similar fasteners starting at $2. I'd take one in there to do a close match. I'd bet one of those will hold it in place.
