might be a bad seal at the back of your tank leaking. Fill it up and try to trace the fluid back up the truck. My pump has a crack in the little nozzzle and leaks it all out too. Need to get that replaced before winter. Thanks for the reminder....
I think mine is different, but a long screwdriver from the top and a pair of pliers from the bottom got it for me. You might not need a whole new tank, though. Try to see where it is coming out first...
Don't go and order a tank, fill the bottle with water then crawl under the ront of the truck and see where it is leaking from, usually it is one of the rubber hosed that is cracked.
The washer resorvoir on my 96 disco was leaking out fast. I took the tank off and found the rear washer pump had cracked where it exited the tank at the hose,. Check this , but you,ll have to remove the tank.
my '01 discovery was in a minor front end collision before I purchased it. Right on the drivers side front bumper. Everything is back to normal except the washer pump and resivor. The fluid leaks quickly and even if I put fluid in and try washing the windows I get nothing. Could it be the pump or just the resivor.
could be the line from the pump was never put back on, or line up by the washer after the tee is split. fluid will run out the easiest way (disconnected hose or cut in hose) instead of going out the washer nozzle onto the windshield.
