the D1's also have better spring retention. That is one of the reasons I switched.

I used my stock wipers and removed the blade. I then found the correct size replacement and used my dremel to notch one end of the stock wiper. Now all I do is slide out the old and put in the new one.

Just bought a set from "OEMROVER" on ebay for $15 plus $8 shipping. I'm not expecting much from them, I just needed blades fast with all this snow we are getting in the north east every other day.

I just picked up a set of D1 arms from AB. My driver's side arm is in terrible shape. The spring lost most of its tension. HOW? Out of all the cars I ever owned, I never came across this. Only in a Land Rover.

I do the same thing. Didn't use a Dremel though, I just pulled the rubber off a new blade of the same size and finagled it on the DII arms.

Really?!!! Walmart arms will work?! I want cheap replacements and have a hard time with $60 to do it. Just generic arms? Talk to me about this one!

Spike if you ever wake up to no wiper arms I have no idea how that happened.

I got my replacement wipers from D.A.P. a while ago, I think they were like 12 or 13 dollars... not too bad I guess, but sucks to have to go to a specialty store for a stupid wiper blade. Wouldn't mind a set of D1 arms.
