So the ones from AB suck! Need some good quality ones to fit the dII. Any suggestions.

I'm sure you can replace it with the D1 wiper arm. So, you can get the regular set of blades anywhere and any brand you want. I remember that can be done but I still have plenty blades for replacement. The tip of the arm is U shaped, replacement is easy as well.

Well, Rock Auto is on my poo poo list but I'll be nice. Check them out. $30 for both front and rear.

I changed to the D1 arms and have been really happy. The wipers seem to work better, as they seem to press into the windscreen more and pair that with a nice set of bosch beam wipers and its a much improved experience. For the rear i just bought the rover original one from the dealer.

What exactly did you get? I'm about to need new wipers and the last foray cost me 80 bucks!

I bought a front set from AB 2 years ago, but since it was summer didn't instal them to go bad under the sun without use,,,
Since the ones on truck were torn I went to Walmart & bought a pair of regular Michelin wipers ($8-$9 a piece) with right length & pulled the rubber & metal pieces that hold rubber & inserted into old ones I had on truck so I have something just in case,, surprisingly they worked so great that after 2years still on truck & the ones I bought from AB are resting in back storage bins as spare,! (when the Michelin blades wear out I am going to buy another pair from Walmart & replace the again, well worth what I paid for them),

I'll second that. They are the most expensive and worst I have ever bought.

I just bought some "Land Rover specific" blades off the 'Net that were supposed to be for the Disco II. The blade I put on the passenger side doesn't wipe over half the windshield! Talk about waste of money. It's like it doesn't even touch the glass for the inner half or something when it's in motion. Anyway to fix that, or should I try the D1 swap? How much is the D1 swap kit, if you don't mind me asking?
Thanks!
