I own a 1997 land rover discovery se7. It was recetly broken into and the theif thought that he should take the owner's manual. I have briefly looked online to find another owner's manual for my exact model but with no success. I was wondering if anyone could help me locate an owners manual. Also, I was wondering if there is a way to look up the code for the stereo, seeing how I have lost the code.
Thanks.

The Rave manual has the owner's manual in it. Not as handy as having it in the glove box, but it's available. You could go to the dealer for the radio code. Don't know what they would charge... if anything. When I bought a 'Benz years ago without a code, the dealer just asked for my license and reg and gave me the code, no charge. Or if you're REAL lucky, maybe someone wrote the code on the bottom of the radio.

As long as the radio wasn't replaced you can just call LR and give them your vin. I have heard of some dealers being jerks about it but I had no problems calling the LR dealer in Knoxville tn. This may help until you can get a new manual http://www.ownerinfo.landrover.com/e...jsp?bTimeout=0
I just bought one from the dealer when I got my D2 but it was 30 bucks which didn't bother me until I discovered it didn't come drapped in leather, it was jsut the basic, military looking book.
