Thumbs up Where to Place Floor Jack?

Can I place my floor jack directly under the differential housing to jack up my 2004 Disco? Also, what size socket does the lower guide pin bolt on the caliper housing take? Thanks!

I would put it towards the outsides of the axle and do it one side at a time. That is a lot of weight to teeter-todder.

Not sure on the socket size for a D2

I've jacked mine up by the diff, the radius arm knuckles, and the axle itself.

The closer to the outside the less you will have to raise it which means less work for you.
