Do you have tripple A or something like it? Most shops are unable to rebuild LR3 diffs for lack of parts availability, so you'll have to replace it. So even if you grenade the thing, it's probably not going to cost anyone than if you replace it now.

I'd risk it.

 

Thanks guys. I went and looked at post on LR3 but they did not have anything on differential noise...Sorry if I went into the wrong post.

I'm not taking a chance. I'm going with a rental for my trip to south carolina. The risk of getting stuck on the road and getting the LR3 towed back to PA...
