Default White disco 2, what rims?

Hi, new here. I got my hands on a 02 white disco 2 for dirt cheap due to motor issues back in June. Its been sitting but I have major plans for her in a month and wanted to ask thoughts on wheels. Right now there is a set of 19" range rover rims on it but I dont want that big of a rim and it just looks to clean. I was looking at a set of 5 black alloy rims from bavarian. I really want 16" rims that are black. Should I go with the alloys or is there a nicer 16" black rim that would look good on a white disco? Thanx

Well, before cosmetics, you might want to be sure motor, head gaskets, oil pump, front prop shaft, water pump, radiator, and many other wallet drainers are resolved.... Many new owners are amazed at what the previous owner left for them to pick up the tab for. Sometimes these things don't show up until driving for a while, etc. And an Ultra Gauge would be nice for inside (better instruments and a scanner all in one for $70).

I've seen the original 16" wheels on craigslist for as little as $125 for a set of 4. You could just pick up a set of those and paint them black.

I thought about the painting deal, it might be the route I go. I saw some nice black rims in a Bavarian mag but they were only for the Disco 1's and Defenders.

Savannah Buzz, Ive got a huge parts list for most of what I am aware of is wrong. May even throw another motor in if nessasary, not sure yet.

Wheels: Land Rover Discovery II & Range Rover (P38) Wheel 16 x 7
Lug Nut - For Steel Wheels for Discovery Series II | Land Rover wheels, tires, hubs, axles
Wheel Center Cap - Steel Wheel for Discovery Series II | Land Rover wheels, tires, hubs, axles

It would look pretty bad *** in my humble opinion.
If you search you can find the NATO rims, steel wheel lug nuts and center caps cheaper.
Or call AB and see if they will cut you a package deal, they have been known to do that before.

Hey Spike555, those are the ones I was originally going with. I said Bavarian but meant British Atlantic. They have a 5 rim set for like $400+ which is what I need. I was between these and doing what Big Jim said and painting some oem's. Most shops I have spoke with wanted around $100 per rim which would put me over budget including the price of the rims.

Paint some OEM's yourself. Here are mine after a little sanding, some primer, Rustoleum High Performance wheel paint, Duplicolor clear coat and a Saturday afternoon.

I'll trade you my 16s straight up off my d1, they Are scratch free and have all center caps. I'm pretty sure they fit across the board
