I miss her so much.... 04 Ducati 800SS I will be a Duc owner again. Mark my words!
Picture taken on Ocean Highway in Laguna Beach when I was stationed at Camp Pendleton CA. I loved running those canyons out there.

very cool set up,,
i love the ride of the daytona,,,i would place that 3rd on my list of bikes to acquire. a 999R would be 1 and a aprillia rsv1000r would be 2.
i still have not got back into the looks of the new 1098 and 848 ducs. i know i am not on the bandwagon,,,

RE: Who has motorcycles?
It's a lot of fun. Huge torque off the line, and handles great in the curves with the short wheelbase. I changed quite a bit of the stock configuration.... put inverted forks from and X-1 (revalved for a stiffer ride), clip on handle bars, bar end mirrors, and cleaned up all the turn signal/lisence plate silliness that comes from the factory. K&N filter.... no more factory bread-box...
Basically stripped the non essentials....
I have a good friend who had a Ducati Monster... I'd always beat him off the line, but he had edgethe higher end (+100 MPH). If I remember right, he had a 6th gear, which the Buell could have used.
Spent a bit of time on a track with it... definitely a great bike for cornering.
I really like the simplicity of the V-Twin. Easy to work and on get to everything without a lot of plastic to remove.....
I'll try to find pics....
