Some people use myspace for what it was intended for. But, because of what you jsut said, I won't post my myspace page. The pedophiles have taken over and there is way too much spam...

 

My wife has one and she uses the hell out of it to keep in touch with her friends and sister.
But her ex-fiance keeps tabs on her 6 years later with her myspace page. He even sends her messages, she had finally had to block him.
I open my phone and call people.
I just dont get it, it makes no sense at all, trying to see how many "friends" you can get.
She even has the Flight of the Concords as her friends, they dont know her nor do they care.

 

Flight of the Concords is hilarious...I doubt they know anybody on their page, they are famous now from their HBO show.

 

We are both HUGE fans of the show, we even have one of their CD's.
HBO and Netflix is the best money we pend each month.

 

Facebook is MUCH better than myspace. My Mom caught up with people from her High School, and thats saying something! That being said, facebook is MUCH safer than myspace too.

Many businesses are making networks on facebook to send out important company info because its much faster. Facebook even played a role in politics this year its crazy!

 

Many companies also check for myspace and facebook pages before they hire too.
If your page is not up to their standards then no job for you.
So becareful what you put on your page.
