Why the CLICK?
Why would I feel and hear just one loud clear "click" before shifting from "P" down to "R" or "D", soon after turning my truck on and pressing the brake? this just started today, actually this afternoon.
Let me fill you guys in... these past days I've been having brake issues: front right caliper, rotor and pads were replaced, as well as rear left rotor and pads. In fact front right brakes were getting stuck even after replacing caliper, rotor and pads, but this weekend my mechanic bled the system thoroughly, and so far so good. Also hand brake is not working, got stuck long time ago due to some grounding issues that heated the hand brake lever and wire, when finally figured out the culprit it was too late, so now the hand brake is eternally in the off position and unable to lift it.
Also with the "CLICK" the "Check Engine" light came back on, it hadn't since I had cleared the codes some time ago, but I guess it cycled back to the point of having to show them again, so checked again and it still shows the codes that always were being showed (P1590 & P0420), nothing new.
Another thing that hadn't showed for a while that surfaced too is the "S & M" blinking lights, which thankfully don't come back on as soon as I turn my truck OFF and ON once more, but I understand they blink due to some battery or grounding issue
So any hint regarding the "CLICK" will be appreciated, thanks in advance!

Yup, it seems to be that from what I've been told, thing is that after recent repairs I have been on edge regarding noises from my truck, and I don't think I've heard/felt that one until a couple days ago, but yes it seems to be it, but is pretty loud, dunno why I think I have never heard it before, or maybe I have and just didn't pay attention to it! ;-}#
