Jack Stands
alright guys I just got my Terrafirma 2" lift in today and im super pumped to put it on (doing it myself) and i was just wondering where I should place the jack stands once ive got it jacked up. would I put them where the bottle jack goes when you jack it up? or somewhere else..
Under the axles will make it impossible to get the springs out/in.
You need to find a stable spot on the frame, that way the weight will be off of the springs. Also if you can't get the springs out or the new ones in, use a bottle jack in-between the axle and upper frame to spread the 2 points open.

okay thanks for the help!
I did mine with the truck jacked up there. It worked for me. Hopefully, I did not make it harder on myself.
I'm going to throw a crazy idea out that probably has no chance of working. What if you disconnected all sway bars, removed the front cross member, got the suspension completely flexed out, and then put the bottle jack between the axle and bump stop. Ok, now someone come tell me how if I try this I'm going to kill myself.
