Cause the chicks dig it! HAHA! I live in a small town in rural Alabama where everyone drives a Ford or Chevy truck. I never could justify spending my money on something that everyone already has. I like to be unique. Only 3 Discoverys on the roads in my area. A red one, a white one and mines the only black one. Everyone knows my truck when they see it.

I owned a 1999 Jaguar XJR and absolutely LOVED it (might get another). It became time to sell it due to mileage and I was in need of a 4x4. I wanted to keep a lot of the English heritage, comfort, experience, I had with the Jaguar, so went with the Disco. Also, like the Jaguar, it was priced WAY below it's value to me. The Jag was $71,000 new, and I stole it for $4,500.

I got the comfort, heritage, experience, and even a forum FULL of Dire Threads about Impending Doom! I feel right at home.

I was pretty sure that I was the only one that knew, from the driveway spot, exactly where my Disco needed to be parked.

When buying mine I had to tow an 8000lb tri axle caravan (trailer) so only had the option of a land cruiser, patrol or Disco. I'm very glad I chose the Disco, every man and his dog has a cruiser or pootrol, lol
