The Defender is the same platform as a DI, very few electronics, same axles/diffs/t-case/trans...same-same.

You can get a locking rear diff on the new LR4 for $750 by adding the Heavy Duty Package.
Or you can just go ahead and add the HSE LUX PLUS Package for $11,115 and get every option including the locking rear diff.

On a RR Sport it is only $500.

On the RR it is $1300.


It is not a option on the LR2.
