Default Will 285/65 18's fit

Got a 2002 Disco II with a 2" TerraFirma medium kit. Looking for a mud tire for getting out of the woods during bird season. So I will have little to no articulation just gooey coastal Alabama mud. I'm running 255/55's Nitto Terra Grapplers and they just don't cut it. Looking at 285/65 Trail Grapplers. dont mind minor trimming. Any ideas?

Thanks

That size is 32.6" diameter. The advice I've been getting on this forum is that 32" is OK with a suspension lift like yours. I guess that 32.6" may require a small amount of trimming but you're only talking of less than 1/3" (8mm) extra on the radius so any trimming would surely be minor, I suppose.

But I've never done it, I'm just doing mathematics!

yea sure you can put them on, I would recommend also changing out your diff gears. those are big tires. And they will put a lot of stress on stock diffs.
