safe to say i would be the happiest guy on this planet if a 4.3 would work in my 03 disco. it's been down for about a month and i know where i can get a 4.3 tmrw

 

See if you can find a 4.3 diesel (GM made these in the early 80s) Then you could have a diesel Disco!! Good thing about a diesel is there's hardly any electronics to hook up. Don't know about your states emission testing though....
