Default Window Frames

Had to move the window frames to get actuators in the doors.

Not sure if they had a lot of wind noise before, but they do now. I am probably just paying attention to it more since I jacked with the window frames.

How do you guys align the window frames to minimize wind noise?

Do you just put the bolts in, push them up as far as they will go, then tighten down?

Do you look from the outside while the door is closed and make sure all the gaps between the frame and door are even?

Do you think my door seals are just worn out and I didn't notice it before??

Default A little late for my advice

I normally mark the vertical and horizontal position of the frames at the junction of the door with a paint pen. I'm sure you are getting more wind noise.

Not only do you look for the gaps, but move the top of the frame towards the body so it's tight against the seal.

Make sure it's not just the felt window seal that has slid down in its channel. Very common source of wind noise in these trucks
