I have an 02 discovery that the window will jam on the way down. I can see it get off center before it jams up. If I hold the top front of the window then it will go down just fine. Has this happened to anyone before or does anyone have some ideas to look for? I took the door panel apart but did not see or could not see anything obvious. thanks

 

Check and you may see the that the roller wheel is broken. Replace the wheel and you should be good.

Welcome. You may find other options to replace the wheel at your local hardware store.

 

I had the exact same issue with my 99 Disco II. The roller wheel was broken. I looked at replacing the wheel. Considering the price of the wheel and work required to replace it I decided to purchase a new regulator on Fleabay for a cost of $83.00, which included shipping. Good luck with your repairs.

 

I just replaced my front window regulator. Got it from Rovers North. It was just over $60. Worked perfect.
