Default Window regulator wires

04 D2
Passenger front window
I am replacing the window motor and track.
The factory harness plugs into the motor.
The replacement motor I have has 2 wires and a plug on it. The new connector doesn't fit the factory.
So I have to splice them.
Can anyone confirm which way the wires should be connected? If I hook them up backwards, I guess the switch would work backwards, and the truck would burn to the ground.
Factory motor on left, aftermarket on right in pictures.
Plug from door pictured plugged into factory motor.

The plug you are showing on door gets connected to motor directly, so take the wire piece that's on new motor off & connect your factory wire to motor.
(Basically the factory plug you are showing on door is a short piece just like the one on new motor) that has another end & you can unplug it from actual harness,

So I can unplug the factory harness further up?
And the plug on the BritPart regulator will plug in to that location?
I'm done for now, and will check tomorrow night.
Thank you

Just check if the connectors are correct for the side you are replacing. The connectors are different from the left and right. The right side motor wont fit on the left side window connector. I tried.

I hope it's right.
I just unplugged the factory harness from the stock motor. Then opened the new one to find a plug on it.
I bolted the new motor to the new track, posted the question, and went to bed.
Hopefully I can just plug it in further up the harness, I'll find out tonight.
Thanks
